Welcome to the Oklahoma Gravel Growler! This is the opening event in the mid-west spring gravel campaign. Are you looking for a challenging event that you can commit to early in the year? Did you get in to the MidSouth and need to get your racing game in gear? Do you want to be a part of an amazing event with a grass roots feel?

We are excited to continue our partnership with the Citizen Potawatomi Nation (CPN). This partnership strengthens our infrastructure and gives us the ability to showcase the cultural heritage of the nation on whose land we are riding.

Thanks to our amazing sponsors we have you covered. We have kept the cost of entry low without lowering the feel and support you should get. Don’t let the distance fool you … in 2023 the 85 miles packed in over 5500’ of climbing. Unlike other events, you still get great swag, a great finish line party and a drop bag service for the long course. We still mark the course (in addition to GPS mapping), provide plenty of aid stations, on course support, and electronic race timing.

To make you feel even better, a portion of every entry goes to support music education for Pre-K to 2nd grade in Tecumseh Public Schools. Music is near and dear to our hearts and the arts continue to be underfunded in schools. This seemed like a perfect match!

We are bringing you the Scavenger Hunt again this year! Sign up for the card during registration. Accomplish the tasks while you are out on the course, turn in the card at the finish and just like that, you are entered to win a set of custom carbon wheels from spOKeLAHOMA. Best part … all proceeds go to our charity donation!

Alison Tetrick is returning as our ambassador of awesomeness! She will be leading and participating in several activities related to the race (we are bringing back our woman’s cycling Q&A). She is one of the crown jewels of gravel and we are proud and flattered to have her back again!

Welcome back Frankie Andreu as our event announcer. If you have not been at an event with Frankie, trust us when we say you will love it. From his vast knowledge of cycling (he was after all a professional who rode in the Tour de France), to his ability to keep the party atmosphere rolling, he brings magic wherever he goes. We will have our fantastic slate of events for families. We expect several of our past winners and an amazing field of pros.

A gravel event is more than just a ride or race. The Oklahoma Gravel Growler has always strived to bring you a complete experience and this year is no different. Our partnership with the CPN allows us to have a plethora of activities for you, your family, and your friends. From the CPN Cultural Heritage Center to bowling to golf to the casino’s, there is a little something for everyone. We are working on a few more cool activities that will be announced soon!
